I love Rain. It helps me sleep. Last night, while some people were freaking out about the storm going on I was dreaming happily about money and puppies. I wonder if there is some kind of chemical released when it rains that has a drowse effect of me?

Is the media too intrusive in your life

The media could be intrusive based on the fact that it is everywhere you go. Every time you go into a store or a restaurant you see the news or sports on tv. twitter and facebook are referenced in almost tv show. Sometimes it is just too much

Tonight is game 2 of the the series between the Nashville Predators and the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings lost 3 to 2 last game and are looking for revenge. Go Red Wings!

I think WFAA covered the storms best. Most likely due to the fact that is used multiple medias to break the news. I love WFAA so much.

NHL playoffs

The NHL playoffs start in two weeks. My team, the Detroit Red Wings will most likely play the Nashville Predators. It should be a good series as both teams have a good shutdown defense and some potent offense

Something that has made me proud is that I was asked to come in for an interview for ISM. ISM does not have to interview you if your application/essay is not goo enough. So I am proud that I at least got through selection stage one.

If there was a book about my life it would be called Majestic. I would name it that because I am a fragile butterfly with elegant taste. I often attend masquerades and wear 3 piece tuxedos to go swimming. I am the definition of fancy.

Biggest Impact On Our Country

The biggest impact an event has had on our country would be World War II. It brought us great political, social, and economical successes. It also united the country against one cause.

North Korea and South Korea

Controversy between North and South Korea can impact the U.S. by making U.S. soldiers liable to die at the 38th parallel. Ever since the Korean War we have been on the side of the democratic south as we tried to contain communism from spreading in Asia and the entire world. We would have to spend more resources on military and risk more American lives, but as the U.S. we should do what is necessary to protect our allies and assets.

Communication Skills

Communication skills are important as it allows us to understand ourselves and others around us. If you could not communicate you would not know what is appropriate and what is not. It also helps to know if someone is upset.

U.S. Government

My thoughts on the U.S. government is that it is not good but not bad either. There are many things we could improve on but no one is perfect. If America would work together instead of in two different parties we would accomplish more.

Birthday Memory

My best birthday memory was in eight grade when I was surprised with an Iphone. My parents told me i would never get an Iphone, so I was completely shocked. I don not ever remember being so happy, best birthday ever.

Texas and Texting & Driving

Texas should regulate texting and driving by only allowing it a red lights. There should be a penalty for doing it while driving. It puts yourself and others in danger so they should make a law against it

Advertising During The Superbowl

The benefit of advertising during the super bowl is the fact that millions of people will be seeing your product. The drawbacks are that not everyone will be watching as commercials are used often to get food/ use the bathroom also the commercials cost a ton to add to circulation.

Why I Am Tired

I am tired because I had to stay up to watch the Red Wings play. They were out in Vancouver so the game started late and went to 12:30. The good news is they won, but I am gonna pay all day for staying up.

People have superstitions to make them feel like there is some supernatural force to things. Some fans wear the same jersey for every game believing it will make their team win. An example is a woman thought the Green Bay Packers lost because she put sparkles on her nails

What do you want to see happen today.

I would like to see me get something for free. Whenever I get something for free I feel good about myself. Hopefully it will be a new car, but probably not.

Rainy Day Memories

My favorite Rainy day memory was actually at night. I was at camp during the summer and one night it stormed very hard. As the rain hit the tent and the lightning flashed above, I was so relaxed and it felt great.

A Small Act Has Big Impact

A small act can have big impact by something as simple as holding a door for someone. It will then make that person want to do something nice for someone else and so on. This can be seen in the movie Pay It Forward.

SOPA & PIPA

My thoughts on SOPA and PIPA is that is unconstitutional. While copyright to a certain extent is an issue, a bill that will shatter the internet as we know it. This bill promises to shutdown Wikipedia, Craig's List, and most of YouTube. This will make me very sad as the internet I grew up with will be no more. :(

The Best Advice

The best advice I have ever received is to not take things too seriously. This is important because it keeps your stress down and allows you to enjoy life. It was so valuable because my grandpa told me and he has years of experience.

Why The Detroit Lions Have So Much Promise

The Detroit Lions finally made the playoffs for the first time in 12 years. They have key franchise pieces such as Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Titus Young, Ndamakong Suh, and Nick Fairly. If the Lions can add a running back and some secondary defense they will be a contender every year.

The Biggest Problem In Our Society

The biggest problem in our society is a lack of care. People just do not care about anything but themselves. If more people would reach out to others, the world would be a better place.

Bias in the Media

I believe there is biases in today's news. Fox news biases more towards Republican ideas while NBC is more Democratic. There is also biases in sports as the media tends to focus on "superstars" such as Lebron James and Sidney Crosby.

Myself

What I like about myself is the my sense of humor. It allows me to keep stress down and not let things get to me. It also allows me to make and maintain friends.
